Beginner Knitting & Crochet Combo Class Description $60 (materials included)

If you want to learn how to knit or crochet, this class is the first step on your journey! Come out to the alpaca ranch and learn about our animals, test out a variety of fibers and learn a new skill. You can choose whether you want to learn knitting or crochet, and if you aren't sure then you can give both a try to figure out which one is right for you. During this three-hour class, we will cover the knit stitch as well as casting on and casting off. For crochet, we will learn how to make a chain and single crochet. Participants should walk away from the class with a strong foundation in basics to get you started making simple projects. The class includes either a pair of knitting needles or a crochet hook and yarn to take home for more practice.

While there are a lot of tutorials online that teach knitting and crochet, it can be hard to get started without in-person support. This is a great opportunity to have fun hanging with our alpacas and learn a skill that you can enjoy for years to come! All ages welcome.
