AWH Kalino by Max is the Real Deal. A Stud Muffin to be sure. And he's cute-- really cute. The girls all say so.
Kalino is a beautiful outcome of 2 amazing parents.
His sire is Futurity Champion Sierra Bonita's Maccoyo Maximum-. Max is a son of the amazing DDF MacGyver, a prepotent male who changed the colored suri industry to the good forever. Just like we talk about Accoyo traits, we now talk about MacGyver traits. Most suri breeders have him in their lines somewhere, so prolific a breeder he was. MacGyver is a Hall of Fame for sure. And Max is no disappointment. Max is also the grandson of Bruxo, one of the original Accoyo suri males imported to the US, and also MacGyver's sire, making Max a line breed on Bruxo. He might be the only one out there! Max is very impressive. He recently went to a show at age 13 and the judge was extremely complimentary of his conformation, but also his lasting fineness and high degree of luster. I think Max really enjoyed going to the show and having everyone admire him.
Kalino's mom is AWH Torbio's Wayra, arguably the best of Torbio's daughters. She spend 3 years running in the Top 5 in the AOA EPD program for AFD and SDAFD. She won her classes in the show ring, and has produced many wonderful crias for us over the years, Kalino high on that list.
Kalino himself sits in the top 1% in the EPD program for AFD, SDAFD, SF, and %F>30. Amazing!!

A MOMENT FOR WHITE SURI: Let me take just a minute to give a pitch for white suri fleece. Because of its high luster and silky fineness, I believe white suri is the basis for improving and pumping up any suri breeding program. Because Suris represent such a small % of the national herd, white has a unique place in expanding the reach of suri in a practical, someday commercial industry. Don't get me wrong--- I love the other natural colors! Suri luster makes them all stand out in a way that is breath-taking.
