Marmalade by Torvo has a lot going for her!
First, she is black-- I mean really black! Her fleece doesn't fade, it stays true to color regardless of sun exposure. No sunscreen for this girl!
She has fantastic coverage-- something that can be hard to maintain with black sometimes. Her fleece grows down between her toes like a Hobbit!
She is very solid in her conformation, compact front to back with a very square frame, as you can see in her picture. I love the way she is built!
AND...she is very sweet! Marmie is one of those alpacas who isn't rattled by much at all, enjoys our company without being pushy, and handles easily on a halter.
She breeds easily and carries her pregnancy well, holding her weight while easily while nursing her cria.
All things considered, she is a GREAT member of the herd.
And she would be a great member of YOUR herd!

Marmalade is exposed to our new black herdsire, RHA DesCartes by The Admiral. Desi is a stunning shiny black male with good proportions, a sweet temperament, and a 1st at the Futurity.
