There are a lot of alpacas out there--how do you figure out which ones are right for you? Whether you are staring out with your first purchase, or adding elements to your established herd, it's important to have a plan. Consider the "cute factor", take a look at your budget, think about your breeding and herd goals, decide on your "niche"-- and then you're ready to start looking for your alpaca. We'll also take a look at quality vs. quantity, how fast you want your herd to grow, and talk about any questions you have.

The medicine cabinet is where I turn almost every day to treat superficial wounds, update shots, give vitamins and supplements to young alapcas, or feed a cria. This is a very practical workshop for all alpaca owners.
