Description:
AWH Torbio's Snow Storm is a gorgeous young male suri! Always the youngest in his class in Spring 2011, Snow Storm turned heads with his glistening lock and smooth, slick handle. He flashes in the sunlight even since being shorn, and has curls coming back all over his body.
Snow Storm's daddy is the unparalleled Ppervian Torbio, King of White Suri from beginning to present. Torbio is full Accoyo, and held up as Don Julio's ideal white suri at the importation. He has since proven himself many times over as a sire without comparison. Snow Storm is a true son of his sire, standing squarely "in the box" of compact conformation, and having all the winning fleece traits that Torbio's genetics contribute to the equation.
Snow Storm's dam's pedigree reads like a Who's Who is U.S. Suri. AWH Snow Flurry's sire is Montage of PVA, a heavily-locked son of Montoya of PVA (Montage is now owned by Steve & Donna Lynton of Purple Sage Alpacas)and an Accoyo Baron daughter. Her dam is Pucara Hannah, a daughter of the famous Pucara Kahuna. Both of Flurry's parents also pass a sweet, curious disposition, which Snow Storm definitely inherited.
Snow Storm is entered in the Gold Country Gathering as a previously-shorn yearling, one of the most important classes at any show, as it demonstrates the processable regrowth of the suri fleece, both in staple length and consistent lock structure, as well as the luster and handle that are the hallmarks of good suri.
