Peco's Bill's pedigree reads like a Who's Who in US Accoyo Suri: Uribe! Torbio! Inca! Starbuck! Bill is pure suri, 4 generations deep on BOTH sides of his pedigree. On his sire's side, LCA Pecos, he is a grandson of Pperuvian Uribe and Ppperuvian Starbuck. On his dam's side, LD Lady Murasaki, he is a grandson of Pperuvian Torbio and Pperuvian Inca. And on top of all that, he is fawn like LCA Pecos and his grandsire, Uribe.
Bill just turned 3 years old, and he is a sturdy fellow with lots of presence. His lovely fawn fleece sparkles and gleams in the sun, and his 3rd fleece was as locked and independent as the first two. It is our opinion that the regrowth after shearing shows the true value of a suri. If the lock structure comes back again and again, along with the luster and fineness, it means that a suri has a very consistent fleece--one that is likely to be passed to his progeny.

Regrowth -- 3rd fleece
Pecos' Bill was shown as a previously-shorn yearling, and his 2nd fleece showed extremely well. The judges were very complimentary about the fineness and luster they found in his fleece, as well as the consistency--high compliments!
Pecos' Bill is ready to breed. He is just what the doctor ordered for a herd that is looking for fineness, high luster, and consistent lock and regrowth. Call Cindy Harris, 805-907-5162, to talk about how Pecos' Bill could impact your herd, or plan to come out to see him soon!
