They also placed 2nd in "Get of Sire," 2nd only to a white and imported male. Kobe won "Best of Head" at the 2001 International Alpaca Odyssey in Palm Springs.

Oprah's sire, Kobe, is a son of the great Mahogony Prince. He has sired many champions himself, including Diamonte of PVA, the black 1/2 Accoyo phenomena who just sold for $195,000. Oprah's dam, Black Jewel, comes from the Wings and a Prayer breeding program, home of Captain Morgan.
