GLR Chipotle is, as his name suggests, a Hot Number! He is a deep brown with fringes of gray around his blanket, reminiscent of his sire, MacGyver's Synergy. His lock structure and luster remain outstanding, even into his 3rd fleece, and his density surpassed our fondest hopes. His first fleece weighed in at 17 lb at 20 months! Great Lakes Ranch sure does a great job with their breeding program!

In the showring, Chip did an outstanding job, picking up a Championship and a Reserve, as well as blue ribbons at shows such as AWE. He even took a 2nd at the Futurity and Mapaca when he was just a pip-squeek!

How the proof of the pudding is beginning to come out of the oven. His first 2 crias are on the ground with several more to come. AWH Steppin' Out, out of Peruvian Belmonte's Curra, is almost a clone of dad, but with even more luster if you can believe that! His 2nd cria is a lovely dark fawn female out of a light fawn production female, and it looks like she is bound for show season as well.
